Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPersonalized antibody-drug conjugates activated by matrix metalloproteinases for solid tumors\u201d, acronym: PACMAN, Virtual Research Institute (WIB); managing entity: \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 PORT. The PACMAN project aims to develop a new class of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) that do not require internalization and are selectively activated extracellularly by matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-2, MMP-9, MMP-14) in the solid tumor microenvironment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Derivation and characterization of primary cancer cell lines obtained from tumors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasks<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close collaboration with the team deriving cell lines from patient-derived tumors; preparation of materials for cell-based assays; maintenance and culture of selected cancer cell lines; characterization of cell lines; selection of cell lines for further studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Master\u2019s degree in biotechnology, chemistry, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Knowledge of advanced techniques in biotechnology and cell biology, including analysis of intracellular signaling pathways, proliferation and cytotoxicity assays, cell migration assays, and confocal microscopy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Proficiency in both Polish and English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Outstanding academic achievements, as evidenced by publications in reputable journals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Experience in conducting research as a team member in at least one large-scale research project (budget exceeding PLN 1 million).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Documented active participation in conferences, workshops, courses, and other forms of scientific development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Experience in deriving and working with primary cell lines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Experience in preparing scientific publications and analyzing results from research projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Motivation for scientific research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Commitment to comply with non-competition rules in accordance with WIB Program guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
