U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A doctoral degree in discipline of biological sciences, in the field of exact and natural sciences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least five years of research experience in genetics and molecular biology of the yeasts <em>Saccharomyces cerevisiae<\/em> and\/or <em>Schizosaccharomyces pombe<\/em> after obtaining the doctoral degree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical knowledge and skills in molecular biology techniques, including: protein and nucleic acid isolation, Western blotting, chromatin immunoprecipitation,\u00a0 PCR\/qPCR,\u00a0 flow cytometry,\u00a0 cloning, bidirectional electrophoresis of DNA fragments, skills related to proteomics analyses and next-generation sequencing (NGS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documented scientific achievements, including relevant publications in top scientific journals and participation in scientific conferences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to acquire new skills and techniques, undertake challenges, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in research grants as either principal investigator or team member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Polish sufficient to conduct teaching classes in Polish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in English sufficient to conduct teaching classes in English and present research data at international conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope of Duties<\/strong> (in research, teaching and organizational areas, respectively)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Research Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conducting research in genetics, molecular biology, and physiology of the yeasts <em>Saccharomyces cerevisiae<\/em> and <em>Schizosaccharomyces pombe<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring scientific reports published in international journals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparing scientific publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active participation in scientific conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Teaching Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teaching courses in genetics and molecular
