<strong>2 years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completed course of historical studies, PhD degree in the Humanities, in the discipline of History.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting research in the field of Ancient History<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of at least one foreign language, sufficient to conduct research and communicate its results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A proven record of scholarly publication, including either: demonstrating the publication or certified acceptance for publication of monograph from Level II of the list of Ministry of Science and Higher Education, or articles worth at least 100 points in journals assigned to the academic discipline of history and included on the official ministerial list of scored journals, or chapters in a collective monographs from Level II of the list of Ministry of Science and Higher Education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in securing external funding for conducting scientific research and implementing team-based research projects, demonstrated by leading or participating in a domestic or international research project funded through national or international open competitive calls (e.g.: MNiSW, MKiDN, NCN, NCBiR, or FNP), or by undertaking a scholarship or research fellowship abroad at reputable scientific institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparedness to conduct teaching activities in the field of Polish and general history of the 16<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 18<sup>th<\/sup> centuries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For candidates from outside Poland, proficiency in the Polish language sufficient to conduct academic classes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The assistant professor will be expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct research on Ancient history.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teach courses in Ancient history.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fulfil organisational responsibilities associated with employment at the Historical Institute of the University of Wroclaw.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply for research funding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publish scholarly articles in journals and monographs listed on ministerial publications lists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply for domestic and international research scholarships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and maintain cooperation with research centres in Poland and abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The application for the competition should include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\"
