The competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.
Requirements
The candidate is required to have:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in the field of humanities.
- Competences, qualifications and experience documented in the professional CV, enabling the proper conduct of academic classes.
- Willingness to perform organizational work in the field of teaching, work in university committees, organize meetings and workshops, coordinate and conduct Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Taal (CNaVT) examinations.
- Availability to conduct classes in full-time and part-time modes.
- Flexibility in creating, preparing and implementing new types of courses, including those using digital tools.
- Native speaker level proficiency in Dutch.
- Proficiency in English sufficient to conduct classes at the academic level.
- Communicative skills, ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities
In the area of teaching:
- Conducting classes related to the teaching process in the field of Dutch language learning, including specialized classes and other classes related to language skills training, resulting from the current needs of the Erasmus-Chair of Dutch Studies, in the scope provided for the position of lecturer, in accordance with the current internal regulations of the University of Wrocław.
In the organizational area:
- Performing tasks related to the organization of the teaching process at the Erasmus-Chair of Dutch Studies, including: organizing credits and examinations, participating in the work of teams implementing changes in study programs and developing new study programs.
- Performing other tasks and activities related to the implementation, organization and improvement of the teaching process, as indicated by the management of the Erasmus-Chair of Dutch Studies.
