The competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.
Employment under the NCN SONATA project (UMO-2024/55/D/ST4/01793).
Requirements
The candidate is required to have:
- Doctoral degree in chemistry.
- Experience of organic synthesis and characterisation.
- Experience using air-free techniques in chemical synthesis.
- Published scientific articles from prior research work.
- Ability to work independently in the area of experimental organic chemistry.
- Expertise in scientific writing.
- Advanced knowledge of English (sufficient for the presentation of the results of research in scientific articles and conference materials).
Responsibilities
- Development of synthetic methodology.
- Synthesis of target compounds.
- Characterisation of organic compounds.
- Investigation of the properties of target compounds.
- Molecular modelling.
- Preparation of articles for publication.
- Presentation of results at conferences.
- Supervision of master degree students.
- Maintenance of research equipment.

- List scientific publications in the last ten years.
- Electronic versions of the two most important publications that the candidate considers representative of his or her scientific achievements or an explanation of the lack of them.
