The competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.
Requirements
The candidate is required to have:
- At least the academic degree of doctor in the discipline of social communication and media studies.
- The professional title of Master of Law.
- Scientific output in the field of social communication and media studies published in journals from the MNiSW list, as well as documented active participation in scientific conferences or work in a research team.
- Teaching experience at a higher education institution – including conducting classes in the field of social communication and media studies and in the field of law.
- Knowledge of the Polish language at a level enabling the conduct of teaching classes in this language.
Responsibilities
- In the research area: conducting individual and team research in the field of social communication and media studies, regular publication of research results, undertaking efforts to obtain grants, and active participation in scientific conferences.
- In the teaching area: conducting classes in the field of: social communication, copyright law, empirical research, and discourse analysis.
- In the organisational area: participation in work related to the organization of scientific conferences, editorial work on scientific publications, and activities promoting science.

- Self-presentation containing a description of the scientific activity, degree of internationalization, organizational activity, and teaching activity of the candidate.
- A list of the candidate’s research works published in the last 10 years.
- Electronic versions of the two most important publications that the candidate considers representative of his or her scientific achievements.
- Application for employment addressed to His Magnificence the Rector.
- Declaration in connection with Article 113 of the Higher Education and Science Act (download Declaration – Article 113).
