Applications are invited from those who fulfil the statutory requirements specified in the Higher Education Act from 20th July 2018 (Dz. U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.

Requirements

1. Master degree in biology.
2. At least three years of research experience in the field of structure and function of the reproductive system of arthropods.
3. Knowledge of methods used in morphological and histochemical analyses (preparation of material for analysis under a light microscope, transmission electron microscope, and confocal microscope).
4. Teaching experience in conducting laboratory classes at a university.
5. Scientific achievements documented by scientific publications.
6. Applying for research funding from external funds.
7. Knowledge of Polish at a level sufficient to conduct classes in that language.
8. Knowledge of English at a level sufficient to conduct classes in that language.

Responsibilities

In the research area:

1. Conducting research in the field of gametogenesis, structure and function of the reproductive system of arthropods.
2. Following scientific reports in international journals; preparing scientific publications.
3. Active participating in scientific conferences, applying for external grants.

In the teaching area

1. Preparing and conducting classes in animal histology and cell biology.
2. Supervising volunteers and students conducting research at the department.

In the organizational area

1. Activities aimed at promoting science as part of the Lower Silesian Science Festival and Biologists’ Night, etc.
2. Supervision of interns.
3. Participation in the creation of new subjects and study programs.

6. Self-presentation (information about scientific, organizational, and other achievements).
7. List scientific publications in the last ten years.
8. Electronic versions of the two most important publications that the candidate considers representative of his or her scientific achievements or an explanation of the lack of them.
