The competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.

Requirements

  1. A professional Master’s degree in Law or Master’s degree in Administration.
  2. Have a fluent knowledge of Polish at the level that allows them to conduct classes in this language.
  3. Have a fluent knowledge of English at the level that allows them to conduct classes in this language.
  4. Experience in research and organizational work in academic units at the university level.
  5. Have professional experience in teaching, especially in English.
  6. Academic achievements consistent with the research activities of the Department of Comparative Public Administration, INA, and WPAE, including at least: conference papers (including at international conferences) and publications on comparative and procedural aspects of law enforcement and the conditions for shaping legal regulations. The research activities of the person employed by ZPAP should focus on the field of administrative law, both comparative and procedural.
  7. Organizational experience in organizing academic conferences, symposia, and scientific panels, as well as experience in organizing research activities.

Responsibities

  1. Teaching in Polish and English in subjects encompassing broadly defined administrative law and the practical functioning of public administration and other state bodies, as well as EU law, taught at the Institute of Administrative Sciences – with particular emphasis on classes conducted within the Department of Comparative Public Administration (as well as support for classes conducted at the Department of Administrative and Administrative Court Procedure).
  2. Participating in research projects – including international ones – involving research and organizational work and undertaking efforts to secure funding for research activities from sources outside the University of Wrocław.
  3. Publishing monographs and scholarly articles in the field of public law and the social, legal, and economic conditions of public affairs.
  4. Organizational activities within the scope of activities undertaken at the Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economics and other organizational units of the University of Wrocław.

  6. Self-presentation (information about scientific, organizational, and other achievements).
  7. List scientific publications in the last ten years.
  8. Electronic versions of the two most important publications that the candidate considers representative of his or her scientific achievements or an explanation of the lack of them.
