Applications are invited from the candidates fulfilling the statutory requirements specified in the Higher Education Act dated 20th July 2018 (O.J. 2018, section 1668) and the Statute of the University of Wroclaw.

Minimum competencies, experience and education requirements

  1. Hold at least a master’s title in finance and/or economics.
  2. Competencies, qualifications and extensive experience enabling the effective delivery of teaching in the field of finance and financial markets, in particular in the following subjects: financial markets, investments, financial instruments, fundamentals of finance, financial management, methods of evaluating business projects, international finance, personal finance, corporate finance, financing of e-business projects, banking, and financial services in Polish and English.
  3. Willingness and organizational competence to organize didactics, work on university committees, organize meetings, symposia, conferences.
  4. Availability for full-time and part-time teaching.
  5. Flexibility in the creation, preparation, and implementation of new types of teaching activities.
  6. Competence in promotional activities and readiness to work for the promotion of the Institute of Economic Sciences UWr.
  7. Unique culture, communicativeness, ability to work in a group.

Responsibilities

In the teaching area

  1. Conducting classes and organisational work related to the implementation and organisation of the teaching process in the field of finance and accounting, as well as other related courses, resulting from the current needs of the Institute of Economics, within the scope envisaged for the position of teaching assistant, in accordance with the current internal normative acts of the University of Wrocław, in particular in the following subjects: international finance, financial markets, investments, financial instruments, fundamentals of finance, financial management, methods of evaluating business projects, personal finance, corporate finance, financing of e-business projects, banking, financial services in Polish and English.

In the organizational area

  1. Organizational activity at the Faculty and the Institute, performing administrative work for the benefit of the University, the Faculty, and the Institute, including participation in organizing scientific conferences, seminars, meetings, and symposia affiliated with the Institute.
  2. Performing other tasks and activities related to the implementation, organization, and improvement of the teaching process as indicated by the Institute of Economic Sciences Director.
  3. Activities promoting the Institute of Economic Sciences.
  4. Cooperation with the socio-economic environment.
